DESCRIPTION: Gholtogh (also spelled Goltuk) is a small village in Kurdistan, Iran (Persia). Gholtogh, rugs often depict small figures and geometric patterns. Not to be confused with nearby Bidjar, Tekab, Sahendej or Bidgeneh Carpets. Many also carry the famous Diamond Herati design, which is now mainly used in Bidjar Rugs and carpets.
