DESCRIPTION: Chobi Pakistani rugs tend to have large geometric floral patterns and the natural dyes used produce stunning colours from soft muted tans and browns to rich coppers, deep maroons, and sage greens. Chobi carpets are all hand knotted with wool spun primarily by a drop spindle and the dyes are made from hand gathered fruits, vegetables, roots, tree barks and dried shells making them a very labour intensive rug to craft. For this reason they are therefore in high demand for the outstanding quality and craftsmanship.
